Q: Why should I become a member?
A:
Becoming a member of our student chapter makes you a member of the national section of the American Society of Civil Engineers. By joining ASCE you will be able to apply for ASCE member only scholarships, attend workshops and conferences hosted by ASCE and other ASCE student chapters that gives you valuable work experience and networking skills needed for finding a career in civil engineering.
Join our student chapter also lets you use our ASCE club house (E-10A and B, right by the Concrete Lab), Give you a host of people to support you for tutoring or general help with your first years in college, and other CSUF ASCE club events.
Q: What does it take to become a member?
A:
It is generally expected that you are or want to become a Civil Engineering major but we accept all from any major be it from Accounting to Zoology. There is also a club dues, but your first payment of club dues will get you an ASCE T shirt. As long as you have a general interest in engineering, you are welcomed to Join.
